Part of the “Sabbie Immobili” series, the figure emerges from a material background. Strong emphasis on anatomy, with theatrical lighting that enhances the physical forms of man.
A grimace of the face and the pose of the body indicates the pain in opposing resistance from the fusion with the bottom.
In acrylic on Schoeller cardboard, the bottom is worked with raw resins to enhance the rough surface.
